A message from the founders of Raining Thoughts:
We exist to create new rules for the media industry. The company has some traditional foundation. We own equipment and are friends with many conventional companies, but generally we are a more virtual organization. The tangible assets (relationships and things) are owned and nurtured by us, Tim Martin and Yen Nguyen.
We leverage our access to talent and technology to produce (fancy word for make) innovative content across all platforms. We live in Canada, home to tax credits, beer and low license fees, so we can’t just focus on one form of media.
We have one simple goal… cue mission statement.
The goal of Raining Thoughts is to create compelling and entertaining content while facilitating the development, production, and distribution of programming.
Simple aspirations - create and distribute. Unfortunately, in the real world it is very complicated because of our overriding determination to put extraordinary value (another term for quality when you have no money) in the product.
We are often able to achieve our goal by applying innovative business models, innovative technology applications, and innovative story collaboration. These are the “new rules” and we are determined to help form the new rules and break the old ones.
